Mac app

FlySoloReady for your Mac

A real Mac app instead of a browser tab — and you get it straight from us, not through the Mac App Store. Download, sign in, keep studying: your full access and your progress sync with iPhone, Android and the web.

macOS 14 (Sonoma) or newer · Apple silicon (M1 or newer)

Signed and notarised by Apple: the app opens completely normally on first launch with a double-click — no right-click trick, no security warning.

Or study in your browser

True multi-platform solution

Ready to go in four steps

You buy on the website — the app picks the purchase up when you sign in.

  1. Unlock Full Access

Buy full access here on the website — or redeem your licence key if FlySoloReady was a gift.

  2. Download and install the DMG

Double-click the downloaded file, drag FlySoloReady into your Applications folder, eject the DMG window. Done.

  3. Sign in

Open FlySoloReady and sign in with the email address you bought with and your app password. If you only sign in on the web via email link, Google or Apple, set the password once in the members area first.

  4. Access syncs itself

Once you're signed in, full access and your learning progress are there — on the Mac just like on iPhone, Android and the web.

System requirements

  • macOS 14 (Sonoma) or newer
  • Apple silicon — Mac with M1 or newer
  • Around 60 MB of free disk space (about 11 MB download)
  • Internet for signing in and syncing — studying works offline too
  • The same app as on iPhone and iPad — the interface speaks your language

Why not through the Mac App Store?

For now we ship the Mac app directly. That keeps updates fast and your purchase cross-platform: unlock it once on the website, study everywhere. The app still goes through Apple’s security check — it is signed and notarised.

One purchase covers all platforms

If something does go wrong

Full access doesn’t show up in the app

Check that you're signed in with the same email address you bought with. If the address matches, restore your access in the app's Shop via “Restore purchases”.

macOS won’t open the app

The app is notarised by Apple, so this shouldn’t happen. Most common cause: an older Intel-based Mac — FlySoloReady needs Apple silicon. Otherwise the download was incomplete: download the DMG again.

Full access active but only a few questions?

Five active devices per account are possible. Once the limit is reached, the Mac only loads the demo set. Deactivate an old device in the phone app under Settings → Devices; the Mac then picks up full access by itself.

Haven’t bought yet?

Without full access the Mac app runs on the free demo question set. You can unlock it here on the website at any time.
